Price Comparison between Jio, Idea, Vodafone, Airtel

     Hello friends, finally the free service battle is on its last stage and Jio and competitors are ready with their best Plans. So, today I am doing a quick Price Comparison between Jio, Idea, Vodafone, Airtel. This Price comparison is here to help you select a best plan for you according to your requirement.

     As we all know that just because of Reliance Jio we are getting ultimate offers and also customers of other networks are getting some relief because of competition. We know competition in telecom industry is very high and it is like a battle between Jio and rest Telecom Operators. Jio want to make more and more customers while other operators want to gain more and more profit. Because of Jio, many broadband companies are now giving double data and double speed. Jio is like Angel for Indian consumers.

     Lets compare plans between Jio, Airtel, Vodafone and Idea on the basis of Validity, Type, Calling, Data, Extra benefits and the most important Terms and conditions.

Tariff plan comparison between top Telecom Operators 

Recharge Amount:

The recharge amount for Jio is Rs 303 while it is Rs 349 for Airtel, Rs 346 for Vodafone and Rs 348 for IDEA. You can see Airtel, Idea and Vodafone all three are charging same price for their plans and it looks like they discuss their plans before launching in the market. Later on in this comparison you will find that characterstics for plans of these  3 operators are very similar. Here Jio is charging only Rs 303 which is cheaper than other three giants. 

Validity:

Validity for all four operators are same and it is valid for 28 days only.

Recharge Availability 

Airtel, Idea and Vodafone all three are giving this special offer to only selected user groups and general public cannot ask for this recharge. However Jio offer is available to all Jio customers. It shows that Airtel Idea and Vodafone want to secure big customers and they don't care about small customers.They want to secure their profit and not their customers.

Calling

Calling is unlimited on Airtel, Idea and Jio while Vodafone is afraid of giving Unlimited calls so they are putting limitation on it. On Vodafone you can't make calls worth more than 300 minutes per day and 1200 minutes per week. So why they are saying calls are unlimited?


Data

     Airtel, Vodafone and Jio are giving 28 Gb data for 1 month while Idea is giving only 14GB data. So I can say Idea is Out of competition now.
     Now coming on limitations means FUP or Fair usage policy. Jio is giving Unlimited data at 1GB Daily FUP limit and after this the speed will come down to 128 Kbps. While Customers of Airtel can use 0.5 GB data during day and 0.5GB data during night. Oh come on, now i have to wait for night to consume my 0.5GB? seriously? It is like downloading a 1GB file and waiting for night to finish it on Airtel. And on the top Data is not unlimited. Coming to Vodafone as they are giving 1GB data and after consuming 1GB the charges are 4000Rs for 1GB, what? 4000Rs. it is better to switch to Jio as we can get 1GB additional data at just rs 51. Again Idea is out of competition as we can't use more than 500 mb in a day if we want to use then charges will be 4000 rs for 1GB.


Extra Benefits:


No extra benefit on Airtel and Idea while Vodafone is giving double data on recharges before 15 march and only on first time payment of Rs 346.
While Jio is giving 5GB extra data on all recharges before 31st march.

Terms and conditions

This is the most important part of this article. There are always terms and conditions but operators usually do not show it. Lets see the terms and conditions of all different operators.

Terms and Conditions on Jio:

  1. Jio offers are available for all customers. 
  2. Jio prime offer is for 12 months.

Terms and conditions on Airtel, Idea, and Vodafone:

  1. This offer is only available to only few user groups, mainly big customers.
  2. This offer is only available if first recharge is done before 15 march.
  3. This offer is only for 4G customers and not valid on 3G smartphones.
  4. This offer is only available in selected circles.
  5. Operators can discontinue this offer anytime they want. There is no 12 month assurance in this offer. 

Conclusion:


     Upon comparing all plans, we found that Jio is only operator who is providing offers without any limitations. while There are lots of limitations on Airtel, Vodafone and Idea. The worst part of Airtel, Idea and Vodafone offer is they can discontinue this offer anytime they want.
